                                                                         2nd trip to Romania 2007
In June 2006 we were blessed to meet George his wife Florica and the rest of their family
and friends with Pro-Lumina Romania. Right away we fell in love with them and the work
that they have been doing in Romania since 1995. That first year we were introduced to
the visually-impared children and adults that George works with, we  helped with the bible
school and the field trips and other activities. We took the children swimming, to a salt mine
and to a castle where we gave out Romanian New-Testimant Bibles and tracts. George took

us to an aslyum called Dumbravin where close to 400 people live, some are blind, others
have mental and health issues but many are people that were homeless and had no where
                                    else to go.

Everyone there was very excited to see George and our group
from America. After singing songs and sharing the Gospel we
passed out 375 gift bags that consisted of a fruit drink, sweets,
and fruits. We also passed out Bibles and tracks. Please pray
that we will have the funds necessary to send George fo many
more discipleship training events this coming year. A small
percentage of the people that live here have become followers
of Jesus Christ and George said that it is very difficult for them
because of the living conditions and lack of Christian leadership
      at the aslyum.

The children love making crafts with our team. Even the chilren that were completely

blind tried very hard and they did a wonderful job. George also helps out making crafts
with the children. Earlier this year we bought four computers for Lazuri House. Most
of the children learned how to use them by the end of their stay.
