Pro-Lumina Romania
Pro-Lumina is an evangelical Romanian Christian organization formed
officially in 1995 by a group of blind Christians who felt the desperate
lack of hope left in their country by communism. The name literally
means "To Shine Light". Pro-Lumina is lead by George Iordan. They
also provide Christian literature, fellowship and personal support
specially for visually impaired children and adults. Pro-Lumina has
established a braille press, as well as a holiday home for those in need
of a break from state institutions.
