Please pray for these children
Claudita is a very sweet and affectionate little girl. She doesn't see well at all.
Being raised in an orphanage has made her a little tougher than most girls
her age. She is very curious about everything. She loves to climb especially
up to your shoulders, where she enjoys a ride. Please pray that the Lord
will provide her with a christian home.
Nicoli is fourteen years old. In the summer of 2006, he accepted Jesus
Chris as his Lord and Savior. I believe God is doing and will continue to
do great things in his life. If you are around him for five minutes you will
see God's hand on his life. He has a passion for singing God's praises and
for praying to the Lord. Would you please pray that God will continue
to work in his life.
Iova lives in the center of Placement with her 2 brothers Peter
and Nicoli. Iova is a very energetic 17 year old who yearns for
affection and attention. George told the children to please pray
for a Christian home and Iova was one of the first to donate money
toward a Christian home. Please pray that Iova and her brothers
will find a permanent Christian home.
This is Peter, he is a orphan, he is about 80% blind. He
is a very kind and sweet young man. He is very outgoing
and he has a very good personality. He asked Jesus to be
his Lord and Savior during one of our services. This is a
picture of him giving the couple a New Testament Bible.
Please pray that God will protect him and provide for him.
Lara is a very nice young lady. She gets along well, most of
the time with other children. She can be a little fisty, but
not nearly as much as her sister Gabi. She has matured alot
in the last couple of years. She enjoys lots of hugs and personal
attention. Please pray that as she grows, that she will come to
know Jesus more personally.
Gabi is a young lady that we have had the privelege of seeing on our mission
trip each time for the last 6 years. She is very petite, but don't let that fool you,
she can take care of herself. Her and her sister Laura are being raised in the
orphanage together. She is a very loving young lady when you take up time
with her. She enjoys one on one attention. Please pray that the Lord will send
her a good Christian friend.
I met Claudia June 2007, she is now 18 years old. Claudia lives in an orphanage. She has a
sweet smile and is a loving girl. I will never forget her words, spoken to me through George
because she speeks and understands very little English. After spending only one day with the
children, George told me "Claudia wants ask you something", she wants to know if you would
like to be her friend. There is something else I will always remember about her, memories of
the last day at Lazuri are of George with Florine and Claudia clinging to him crying and hugging
him because they were sad their time at Lazuri was ending. Please pray that the Lord will provide
the updates neededto make Lazur House an Orphanage so that Claudia and other children will have
a loving, Christian home.
Traian is a very curious 10 year old. He is totally blind and in 2007 we were praying for him to
receive an operation to relieve pain in his eyes. When we returned to Romania Traian had received
his operation. The doctorhad to take his left eyeball completely out. Traian is just curious as he
wants to know how everything works and in order to disassembly thingto see how they work. In
2008 he was voted one of the top 5 best behaved children at Lazuri House.
Veta is a very shy 10 year old girl until she gets to know you Although she cannot hear or see very
well it does not stop her from normal activities. At the end of our stay you hear Veta singing Christian
songs that Rodica and George had taught her. Please pray for Veta and others that they may be discipled
through Gods Word.
Vlad is a very loving & caring young man. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord
& Saviour during the summer of 2006.Vlad has never met his parents therefore he
craves for affection & attention. Vlad wanted to spend his last 5 Lei(2 Dollars) on
me because he thought I was hungry & thirsty. Please pray that Vlad's relationship
with Jesus will grow & prosper & that God will provide him with a Christian home.
Elaina is an adorable 10 year old in 2008. Her beautiful smile and bright eyes
light up the room . She is strong and very athletic. She is also very skilled at
football or what we Americans call soccer. It did not take long at all to fall in
love with her fun-loving personality.
Mudalina is a 6 year old in 2008. She was the baby of the group. She loves to be
held and cuddled. She is exstrembly sweet and soft spoken. Her favorite sweet treat
is gum. She looked forward to a piece everyday while we were visiting Romania. She
and her sister Bianca are very close.
Mario is a very bright young man, he has a very out going personality. He is very
good at the games and the sports that we played with the children.He is the kind
of boy that everyone enjoys being around. During one of meetings, the question
was asked ,if anyone new Jesus as their Lord and savior? He raised his hand to
express that he did. Please pray that he will grow in his faith, and be a witness to
others.
