                                                                              Pro-Lumina's work
From Pro-Lumina's headquarters in Tagoviste, some 50 miles from Bucharest, it produces braille
bibles and other evangelical Christian literature. Formats produced also include giant print and
audio cassette, all of which are in Romanian. Pro-Lumina also encourages and supports blind
people by regularly visiting  institutions, factories, schools and prisions and have established a
network of fellowship groups. These groups are known in Romania as "blind churches" and are
most often the only place where a blind person is likley to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
